Dear Prime Minister Najib,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic bus accident near Genting Highlands. It is unfortunate that a trip to Genting for leisure ended up taking so many innocent lives.

On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I express our sincere condolences to you, the families of the victims and the people of Malaysia on your terrible loss. I wish the injured a full and speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with you and your people during your time of grief.
