MFA Press Statement: Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Tonga, His Excellency Lord Tu’ivakano calls on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong (1 June 2012)

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Tonga, His Excellency Lord Tu’ivakano, called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong this morning.


During their meeting, Prime Minister Lee and Prime Minister Tu’ivakano reaffirmed the warm and friendly relations between Singapore and Tonga. They agreed to further the cooperation between both countries.

Prime Minister Tu’ivakano is in Singapore for a working visit, in conjunction with the 11th Shangri-La Dialogue. He also visited the Central Provident Fund Board, Singapore Aviation Academy, Changi Airport, PSA, Housing Development Board, JTC Corporation and the National Kidney Foundation.
