In response to media queries, the MFA Spokesman said:

Of the 30 Singaporeans involved in the bus accident in Western Australia on 24 July 2011, 23 have been discharged from hospital and are making plans to return to Singapore over the next few days. The Singapore High Commission in Canberra and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to provide assistance to the remaining seven Singaporeans who are hospitalised in Perth, Australia. Singaporeans requiring assistance can contact the MFA Duty Office (24 hours):
