| Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo, who is in India for a working visit, met with Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal this afternoon. They discussed the Nalanda University project, and exchanged views on the excellent progress made on bilateral cooperation, including the area of education. Minister Yeo also met MP Arun Jaitley, BJP stalwart and leader of the Opposition in the Upper House. Minister Yeo had worked closely with Jaitley when they were previously Trade Ministers. |

Congress MP Milind Deora, co-Chairman of the India-Singapore Parliamentary Forum, hosted a lunch for Minister Yeo, which was attended by other political leaders.
