Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo today met with His Excellency Mr Nguyen Van Chi, Politburo Member and Chairman of the Commission for Inspection of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). Minister Yeo and Chairman Chi reaffirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations between Singapore and Vietnam. Both leaders also agreed that the countries should continue to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, including the training of Vietnamese officials and party cadres. Chairman Chi also hosted Minister Yeo and his delegation to dinner.
