Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met with Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang this morning on the sidelines of the APEC Ministerial Meetings.

During the meeting, Minister Yeo and Secretary Tsang discussed issues including the state of the global economic recovery and challenges facing the region. They have also agreed on the importance of cooperating and forming an exit strategy from the measures taken to stabilise markets during the economic crisis. Secretary Tsang also updated Minister Yeo on the recent developments in Hong Kong.
