MFA Spokesman's Comments in response to media queries on the visit of US coordinator for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1874 Ambassador Philip Goldberg

In response to media queries on the visit of US coordinator for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1874 Ambassador Philip Goldberg, the MFA spokesman confirmed that MFA and other relevant Singapore agencies met Ambassador Goldberg and his delegation and had a good discussion on the implementation of United Nations Security Resolution 1874, which deals with measures imposed by the Security Council on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to implement the resolutions adopted by the Security Council. The meeting took place on Thursday 20 August 2009 at the request of the US delegation.
