MFA Press Statement: Visit of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo to Washington DC, 26 - 30 April 2009

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will make a working visit to Washington D.C. from 26 to 30 April 2009. Minister Yeo is scheduled to meet Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Security Adviser James Jones and senior members of the Obama Administration. Minister Yeo will also have meetings with several Members of Congress. During the visit, Minister Yeo will deliver a speech at a luncheon event hosted by the US-ASEAN Business Council.

Minister Yeo will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will return to Singapore on 2 May 2009.
