MFA Press Statement: Official Visit of the Prime Minister of the Union Of Myanmar His Excellency General Thein Sein, 17-18 March 2009

The Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar, His Excellency General Thein Sein, will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 17-18 March 2009 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Prime Minister General Thein Sein will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Ministers and senior officials.

During the visit, Prime Minister General Thein Sein will call on Acting President J Y Pillay and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who will host an official dinner in his honour. He will also meet with Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.
