Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed will be leading the Singapore delegation for the 7th Japan-Singapore Symposium (JSS) on 23-24 February 2009. The JSS brings together a cross-section of Japanese and Singapore politicians, officials, academics and business representatives to meet regularly and discuss issues of common concern, and is intended to promote closer ties among our younger leaders.
In Tokyo, SMS Zainul will make a keynote address for the 7th JSS. He will also meet Japanese Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone as well as other leading politicians and academics. SMS Zainul will also be making a side visit to Fukuoka.
