MFA Press Statement: Singaporean Fatality in Bangkok Pub Fire

Thai authorities have informed our Embassy in Bangkok that a Singaporean man was a fatality in the fire that ravaged the Santika Pub in Bangkok.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in contact with the next-of-kin of the two injured Singaporeans who are in hospital. We are providing consular assistance.

The Singapore Embassy in Bangkok continues to work closely with the local authorities to ascertain if there are any more Singaporeans affected.
