The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa will visit Singapore from 13 to 15 October 2008 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Crown Prince Shaikh Salman will be accompanied by the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and a delegation of senior officials.
During the visit, Crown Prince Shaikh Salman will call on President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. He will also meet with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. PM will host dinner in honour of Crown Prince Shaikh Salman and his delegation, while Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will host lunch for the Crown Prince and his delegation. Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will call on Crown Prince Shaikh Salman.
Crown Prince Shaikh Salman will witness the signing of an MOU between SGX and the Bahrain Stock Exchange on 14 October 2008. He will also deliver a key note address at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Business Seminar on 15 October 2008.
