MFA Spokesman's Comments in response to media queries on visa requirements for Singaporeans travelling to China

In response to media queries on the visa requirements for Singaporeans travelling to China, the MFA Spokesman said:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Embassy in Beijing have been informed by the Chinese authorities that with effect from 19 September 2008, China will reinstate the visa-free facility for Singapore ordinary passport holders intending to travel to China for a period of 15 days or less."
