MFA Press Statement: Call on Former Indian President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam by Minister for Foreign Affairs, George Yeo

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo paid a courtesy call on the former President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam today. Minister Yeo and Dr Kalam discussed the Nalanda University project. Dr Kalam also shared his personal vision of the new Nalanda University. Dr Kalam is visiting Singapore from 26 to 27 August 2008 to receive an honorary doctor of engineering degree from Nanyang Technological University.
