The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Mr Pak Ui Chun will make an official visit to Singapore from 21- 25 July 2008 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo. Foreign Minister Pak will also be attending the 15th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) on 24 July 2008. He will be accompanied by senior officials.
This will be the first official visit by Mr Pak Ui Chun in his capacity as Foreign Minister. Foreign Minister Pak will call on President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. He will have a bilateral meeting and an official dinner hosted by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo. Foreign Minister Pak will also be hosted to an official lunch by Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry S Iswaran. The delegation will meet officials from Singapore's economic ministries and visit the Singapore Management University.
