Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed will visit Petra and Amman in Jordan from 17-21 June 2008. In Petra, SMS Zainul will attend the 4th Nobel Laureates Conference, which is jointly organised by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity. The Conference will discuss the Middle East's development in the economic, scientific and educational fields.
During the visit, SMS Zainul will call on senior Jordanian leaders and officials, including His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad bin Talal, Personal Envoy and Special Advisor to His Majesty King Abdullah II and Dr Bassem Awadallah, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court.
