MFA Press Statement: Call On Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong By Former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, 24 June 2008

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana this afternoon. Both leaders exchanged views on regional developments and discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation between Japan and Singapore, and also strengthen regional linkages, especially between Japan and ASEAN. Mr Mori also briefed Mr Lee on domestic developments in Japan.

Mr Mori is visiting Singapore to attend the Water Leaders Summit at the Singapore International Water Week.
