MFA Press Statement: Visit Of Deputy Prime Minister And Foreign Minister Of Vietnam Pham Gia Khiem To Singapore, 20 - 21 May 2008

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo had a very warm meeting today with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Vietnam Pham Gia Khiem who is in Singapore on an official visit. They discussed a wide range of issues. Minister Yeo and DPM Khiem reaffirmed the close relations between the two countries and agreed to enhance bilateral ties through closer cooperation and more frequent exchanges at all levels.

Following the meeting, Minister Yeo and DPM Khiem launched the opening of the Vietnam Festival at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Minister Yeo also hosted dinner for DPM Khiem and his delegation
