MFA Press Statement: Humanitarian Assistance to China, 19 May 2008

Singapore's Consul in Chengdu Lim Meng Hui handed over the second tranche of the Singapore Government's contribution of US$200,000 worth of humanitarian assistance package to the Chinese authorities today. The second tranche of humanitarian aid comprising dried food, tents and water purification tablets was delivered to Chengdu via SilkAir MI 934. SilkAir waived freight charges of the humanitarian assistance packages to China.
