Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will make his first official visit to the Republic of Austria, Slovak Republic and Czech Republic from 7 - 12 April 2008.
In the Republic of Austria, Minister Yeo will call on Federal President Dr Heinz Fischer and Federal Chancellor Dr Alfred Gusenbauer respectively. He will also meet Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Dr Ursula Plassnik. While there, Minister Yeo will also take the opportunity to meet Director-General of the IAEA, Dr Mohamed Elbaradei.
In the Slovak Republic, Minister Yeo will call on President Dr Ivan Gašparovic. He will also meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Jan Kubiš and Deputy Speaker of the National Council Judr. Miroslav Ciž respectively.
In the Czech Republic, Minister Yeo will call on Prime Minister Mr Mirek Topolánek and meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Karel Schwarzenberg and the Mayor of the City of Brno, Mr Roman Onderka respectively.
