MFA Press Statement: Meeting between Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and President of the Ghaddafi International Foundation for Charity Associations, Dr Saif Al-Islam Al-Ghaddafi, 14 December 2007

The President of the Ghaddafi International Foundation for Charity Associations, Dr Saif Al-Islam Al-Ghaddafi called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today. They exchanged views on developments in Asia and the Middle East. They also had an exchange of views on areas of bilateral cooperation, including the sharing of Singapore's development experience with Libya.

Dr Saif Al-Islam Al-Ghaddafi also called on Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang and Minister for Education and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Dr Saif Al-Islam Al-Ghaddafi had earlier met Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo in Tripoli, Libya, earlier in May this year.
