Singapore deplores the bomb attacks that took place on 11 December 2007 in Algiers, Algeria. These acts of violence and terror have killed and injured innocent civilians, including children. We strongly condemn the targetting of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and its staff. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
Singapore firmly stands with the international community to support the efforts of the Algerian government and its people to combat the scourge of terrorism.
