The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, presented a traditional Lagos statue to Senior Minister of State (Foreign Affairs) Zainul Abidin Rasheed during dinner at the State House on 28 November 2007. Apart from meeting other ministers, SMS Zainul, who was on a working visit to Nigeria from 27-30 November 2007, also met with several Singaporeans living in the country, including Singapore's Honorary Consul General Haresh Aswani, who had been living in Nigeria for the past twenty years.
