Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed will make a working visit to Pekanbaru from 13 to 15 August 2007. During the visit, SMS Zainul will meet Governor of Riau Rusli Zainal, Speaker of the Riau Provincial Assembly Chaidir Lansam, as well as other prominent Riau personalities. While in Pekanbaru, SMS Zainul will also be briefed on investment opportunities in Riau and meet with Riau businessmen. In addition, SMS Zainul will attend a Singapore National Day Reception hosted by the Singapore Consulate in Pekanbaru as Guest-of-Honour.
