MFA Press Statement: Call on Foreign Minister George Yeo by The Latvian Foreign Minister, Dr Artis Pabriks, 1 June 2007

The Latvian Foreign Minister, Dr Artis Pabriks, called on Foreign Minister George Yeo today. Dr Pabriks was in Singapore at the invitation of Minister Yeo, and had also called on Deputy Prime Minister Prof S Jayakumar.

During the meeting and lunch hosted by Minister Yeo, both leaders discussed how Singapore and Latvia could strengthen bilateral relations and support each other at international fora. Dr Pabriks and Minister Yeo also exchanged views on developments in Asia and Europe.
