The Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Kim Jang-soo called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on 1 June 2007. Both leaders exchanged views on the security situation in East Asia, and discussed ways to strengthen defence cooperation between Singapore and the ROK. Minister Kim also updated Mr Lee on the national defence reforms undertaken by the ROK Ministry of National Defence.
