MFA Press Release: Call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong by German Federal Defence Minister Dr Franz Josef Jung, 3 June 2007

German Federal Defence Minister Dr Franz Josef Jung called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 3 June 2007. Dr Jung and Mr Lee noted the good relations between Singapore and Germany, and discussed ways to further broaden and deepen cooperation, both bilaterally and between Asia and Europe. They also exchanged views on security developments in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, including the peacekeeping and reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan.
