The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, His Highness Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, will be in Singapore for an official visit from 25 to 27 March 2007 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. This will be His Highness Shaikh Salman's second official visit to Singapore. His last official visit was in March 2000.
His Highness Shaikh Salman will be calling on President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean will host separate meals in the honour of His Highness.
His Highness Shaikh Salman will visit the Biopolis and the National Institute of Education. In addition, His Highness Shaikh Salman and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will jointly officiate at the launch of the Singapore Business Federation's Middle East Business Group. His Highness will also deliver a public lecture organised by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies.
