MFA Press Statement: Visit By Deputy Prime Minister S Jayakumar To Brussels, Belgium (10 to 11 July 2006)

Deputy Prime Minister S Jayakumar and several other members of the ASEAN Eminent Persons' Group (EPG) on the ASEAN Charter will visit Brussels from 10 to 11 July 2006 to meet with key European Union (EU) officials. They will exchange views on the EU's integration experience in relation to ASEAN's own efforts to develop an ASEAN Charter. The EPG delegation will be led by the EPG Chairman Tun Musa Hitam of Malaysia.
