Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will make an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from 31 May - 6 June at the invitation of Kazakhstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Kassymzhomart Tokaev.
Minister Yeo will call on the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan His Excellency Nursultan Nazarbayev, Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Karim Massimov, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kassymzhomart Tokaev, and meet with other Kazakhstani leaders and prominent businessmen.
Minister Yeo will explore ways to strengthen Kazakhstan-Singapore political and economic relations, and is expected to discuss issues of mutual interest with the various Kazakhstani leaders.
