MFA Press Statement: Visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo to Batam on 18 March 2006

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will visit Batam on 18 March 2006 to meet Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla and Indonesian economic ministers. Vice President Jusuf Kalla will be on an inspection visit to Bintan and Batam and would like to discuss with Minister Yeo how Indonesia and Singapore can work together to improve the investment environment in Batam and Bintan. Minister Yeo will be accompanied by senior MFA and MTI officials.
