The President of the Republic of Lithuania, His Excellency Mr Valdas Adamkus, will make a State Visit to Singapore from 22 - 24 February 2006 at the invitation of Singapore President S R Nathan. President Adamkus will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Alma Adamkiene, Minister for Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis and a business delegation.

During his visit, President Adamkus will call on President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. He will attend a briefing at PSA and visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens for an Orchid Naming Ceremony. President Nathan and Mrs Nathan will also host a state banquet in honour of President Adamkus and Mrs Alma Adamkiene.
