MFA Spokesman's Comments: Closure of the Singapore International Teaching Consultancy (SITC) in Vietnam, 27 January 2006

In response to media queries on the closure of the Singapore International Teaching Consultancy (SITC) in Vietnam, the MFA Spokesman said:

"The Singapore International Teaching Consultancy (SITC) is a commercially-run entity with no connection with the Singapore Government.

We hope that the reported problems involving SITC will be resolved expeditiously in accordance with Vietnam's laws."
