MFA SPOKESMAN'S COMMENTS

BERNAMA ARTICLE "MALAYSIA GOING AHEAD WITH BRIDGE PROJECT TO AVOID HIGHER COST - PM" DATED 29 JANUARY 2006

In response to media queries on the above, the MFA Spokesman said:

"Singapore prefers not to react to media reports. Singapore has sent a Third Person Note to KL asking for Malaysia's clarification of these media reports before we decide on our response."
