MFA SPOKESMAN'S COMMENTS
In response to media queries on Minister George Yeo's meeting with the visiting Thai Foreign Minister Dr Kantathi Suphamongkhon today, the MFA Spokesman said:
"Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met Thai Foreign Minister Dr Kantathi Suphamongkhon this afternoon.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments. Both sides agreed that Singapore-Thailand relations are excellent and the two countries should continue to find ways to further strengthen bilateral ties. The strong bilateral cooperation between Singapore and Thailand would also be a catalyst for greater intra-ASEAN cooperation."
