MFA Press Statement - Official Visit of The Prime Minister of The Republic of Ireland Bertie Ahern, 11-12 October 2004

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland Bertie Ahern will make an official visit to Singapore from 11 to 12 October 2004. This will be Mr Ahern's first visit to Singapore. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Department of the Prime Minister and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Prime Minister Ahern will meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, and pay a call on President S R Nathan. Prime Minister Lee will host an official lunch in honour of Mr Ahern. Mr Ahern will also address a Business Forum on the morning of 12 October, and visit the Biopolis and the National Orchid Garden.
