MFA Press Statement: State Visit of President Aleksander Kwasniewski of the Republic Of Poland to Singapore, 22-24 February 2004

President Aleksander Kwasniewski of the Republic of Poland will make a State Visit to Singapore from 22-24 February 2004. President Kwasniewski and Mrs Jolanta Kwasniewska will be accompanied by Minister of National Defence Jerzy Szmajdzinski, Secretary of State (Head of the Foreign Intelligence Agency) Zbigniew Siemiatkowski and senior Polish officials as well as a business delegation.

President Kwasniewski will call on President S R Nathan and meet with PM Goh Chok Tong. President Nathan will host a State Banquet in honour of President Kwasniewski, Mrs Kwasniewska and the Polish delegation. President Kwasniewski will speak at a public lecture organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) on "Partnership for the Future: Poland's Foreign Policy in Asia". President Kwasniewski and Mrs Kwasniewska will also visit the Asian Civilisation Museum and officially launch the commemorative Joseph Conrad marker in front of the Fullerton Hotel. President Kwasniewski will also meet the Polish community in Singapore.
