In response to media queries, the MFA Spokesman said:
"Our Consulate in Mumbai is in touch with the local authorities. They have contacted Singaporeans in Mumbai. As of 1900 Hrs today, there were no reports of Singaporean casualties. We are continuing to check. Friends and relatives of those visiting Mumbai can call the MFA Consular Hotline at 6332-0000 or Mumbai Consulate at (91) 22 2204 3205/3209 or (91) 98200 55060 (Mobile) for updates."
