Application and extension of Singapore International Passport

 

A Singaporean may submit an application for a Singapore International Passport (SIP) online via this link and request to collect the passport at this Consulate-General if the passport has less than 9 months validity.

 

Alternatively, an applicant may also submit the application at the Consulate-General if the passport has less than 9 months validity or if the passport has ran out of visa pages.

 

The Consulate-General does not process the application for a new passport but will assist to forward the application to the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority for processing. 

 

With effect from 1 Oct 2021, all Singapore International Passports will be valid for 10 years (With the exception of minors under the age of 16).

 

Application Procedure (If applied through the Consulate-General)

  

The applicant is required to complete an application form (Available at Mission) and attach one recent passport-sized colour photograph to the application form. The photograph must be 35mm wide by 45mm high and taken on white background.

 

Please make an appointment here before arriving at the Consulate-General. 

 

Processing Time

 

At least 2 weeks if applied online.
At least 6 weeks if applied through the Consulate-General 

 

The Consulate-General will inform you of the collection date when we received the passport from ICA.

 

Fee

 

S$70 if applied online

RMB 427 (S$80 equivalent) if applied through the Consulate-General.
