Notice regarding Winter Storm Stella [14 March 2017]

A State of Emergency has been declared in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia due to Winter Storm Stella.


Singaporeans are advised to be prepared for Winter Storm Stella and take extra precaution when travelling.  Expect travel delays and other inconveniences.  Do also ensure that you have sufficient emergency supplies.  We recommend that you closely monitor local news and follow the US National Weather Service website at www.weather.gov for the latest information on the storm.


Due to inclement weather, the Singapore Embassy in Wsahington D.C. and Singapore Consulate in New York will be closed on 14 March 2017.
