Lost Singapore Passport / Stolen Singapore Passport

For Singaporean who is a tourist in Hong Kong SAR/Macau SAR and has lost his/her passport


You can apply for a Document of Identity, valid for Single Journey, at the Consulate-General to enable you to travel back to Singapore. 


Before You Come To The Consulate-General:


  • Lodge a police report and request for a copy of the report
  • Complete the Passport Application Form [IMM(E)11(OS)] (also available at the Consulate)
  • Take two passport-size (45mm X 35mm) SEMI-MATT or MATT colour photograph with plain white background, according to the specification stated in the application form
  • Call the airlines to change your flight to at least two days later

When You Come To The Consulate-General:

  • Please show documentary proof of your citizenship and your identity, if possible
  • Pay a fee of HKD 87 for the issuance of Document Of Identity

How Long Will I Have To Wait:


The processing time will normally take two working days to allow us to verify your particulars with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) in Singapore.  After your identity has been authenticated, you will be issued with a Document of Identity, valid for Single Journey, to travel back to Singapore.  Please bring along your police report when you depart Hong Kong.

 

For Singaporean who is living in Hong Kong SAR / Macau SAR and has lost his/her passport

 

You may submit an application for a new Singapore passport. Please bring: -

 

  1. A copy of the police report
  2. A copy of the Passport Application Form [IMM(E)11(OS)] (also available at the Consulate)
