Visa requirements for Singaporeans travelling abroad
Singaporeans do not require a visa to enter Germany. However, your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. If you intend to stay longer than three months in Germany, you should first obtain a visa from the German Embassy in Singapore before proceeding here. In any case, please contact the German Embassy in Singapore if you require further clarification on visa requirements.
The Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a website listing visa requirements for Singaporeans travelling to other countries. You may view this at:
However, you are strongly recommended to contact the nearest Embassy of the country you wish to visit in order to obtain up to date and reliable information on the visa requirements that apply.
*The local contact must be either a Singapore citizen (SC) or a Singapore permanent resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass/CorpPass account. If you are applying for an entry visa for business visit (attending business negotiations or discussions), the local contact must be acting on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity. LOIs issued by your Embassy can also be accepted, if you are unable to secure an LOI from a local contact to support your visa application for social and business visits.
