Singapore Permanent Residents

All applications must be submitted online at https://erep.ica.gov.sg/epr/index.xhtml


The average processing time for Permanent Residence application is three months. Applicants will be informed of the outcome by mail.

Renewal of Re-Entry Permits (REP)

Applicants can submit renewal/transfer of Re-Entry Permits (REP) online at http://erep.ica.gov.sg/erep/index.do with a SingPass account or through the Embassy. Please note that an overseas application should be submitted at least 2 months before the expiry of the current REP.

Applications for REP renewal/transfer can be processed within one day if the applicants are in Singapore. For Singapore Permanent Residents who are currently not in Singapore, the outcome of their applications will be made known to them within 5 working days.

Certificate of Identity

The Embassy accepts applications for Certificate of Identity (COI). These applications will be referred to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority(ICA) for processing.
