On 15 September 2017, a terror attack on a Tube train at Parsons Green Station resulted in a number of injuries. The British government has assessed that the terror threat level in the UK is “severe”. This means that an attack is highly likely but not imminent.
Singaporeans travelling to or residing in the UK are advised to be vigilant particularly when in public places. They should follow the instructions of local authorities and remain alert to local security developments. They should also purchase comprehensive travel insurance and be familiar with the terms and coverage.
