Our Office provides assistance to Singaporeans who lose or had their passports stolen while visiting Taiwan.  Singaporeans who lose their passports should first report the loss to the nearest Taiwan Immigration Service Centre.  To find out the location of the nearest Service Centre, you can visit the Taiwan Immigration Agency website (http://www.immigration.gov.tw).

Thereafter, bring along the above report to our Office, together with the following documents, to apply for a Document of Identity (DOI).

Documents Required
  • The original report for the loss of passport;
  • Two recent passport-sized colour photographs taken against a white background;
  • Documentary proof of your Singapore citizenship (e.g. NRIC, driving license etc.)

Upon confirmation of your citizenship from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), you will be issued with a DOI.

Upon your return to Singapore, please surrender the DOI, and apply for a new passport at ICA.
