STUDENTS' VISITS TO THE CONSULATE GENERAL

30 Dec 2015

The Consulate-General hosted two separate groups of Singapore students recently.  The first group, from Hwa Chong Institution, was in Shanghai as part of the school’s bi-cultural immersion programme to better understand developments in the Yangtze River Delta Region.

The second group of students was from the ‘My First Break’ (MFB) programme organised by Singapore’s South East CDC.  MFB is a youth programme that trains our youths with basic business skills and knowledge, while giving them an opportunity to conduct their own short-term micro-businesses.  The programme includes an overseas learning trip for students to understand the impact of globalization and its effect on Singapore and themselves.
