Letter from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Premier Li Keqiang on the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH 370, 14 March 2014

26 Mar 2014

14 March 2014

Dear Premier Li,

It has been aImost a week since Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 went missing, with over 150 Chinese nationals on board.  Several of them are reported to have been working or studying in Singapore. On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I express our deep concern for the passengers and their families.

Singapore is assisting Malaysia to locate the missing aircraft.   We will continue to support the ongoing efforts by Malaysia and other countries, including China, to find the aircraft as soon as possible.

Our thoughts are with the passengers, crew and their families during this difficult time.

Yours Sincerely,

Lee Hsien Loong
