Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam was in Shanghai to attend the Group of 30 Consultative Group on International Economic and Monetary Affairs and International Monetary Conference meetings.
While in Shanghai, he took the opportunity to visit the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP) and had an hour-long roundtable dialogue session with CELAP's faculty and students.
DPM Tharman also officiated at the opening ceremony of Ascendas REIT’s first business park in Shanghai, A-REIT City@ Jinqiao. Joining DPM at the ceremony was Shanghai Vice Mayor and Pudong New District Party Secretary Shen Xiaoming.
