CG Ong Siew Gay, together with Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association Executive Vice President Peng Yuwen, were the guests-of-honor at NUS Overseas Alumni Chapter in Shanghai Annual Gathering at the Best Western New Century Hotel on 20 December.
An annual home-coming event, the evening drew a strong crowd of some 200 NUS alumni members based in Shanghai who gathered together over a good dinner. China Executive Leadership Academy of Pudong (CELAP) Vice President Jiang Haishan was also present as the keynote speaker to share his insights on China's social and economic development after the recently concluded 18th Party Congress.
Founded in 2004, the NUS Overseas Alumni Chapter in Shanghai serves as a platform for NUS graduates to socialise and network through educational, social, cultural and recreational activities.
