Updates on Border Control Measures in Response to COVID-19

1. Notice to All Travellers Entering Singapore

From 9 April 2020, 2359 hrs, it is mandatory for all returnees (Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents or Long-term Pass Holders) to serve their Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in Government-designated facilities. The cost of staying in these facilities will be paid for by the Government, with the exception of returnees who had left Singapore from 27 March 2020. These individuals will have to pay the full cost of staying in these facilities, as they had disregarded travel advisories to defer all travel abroad.

For those with extenuating circumstances such as medical conditions or mobility issues that make it difficult for them to stay in designated SHN facilities, they should provide details at go.gov.sg/shnhotelneeds or contact the SHN Helpline at 6812 5555 for more information.
